Make it Monday: #127 Double Backgrounds

Another week, another Make-it-Monday!

This weeks’ challenge is to create a double background – stamping one background over another.

I really like Dawn’s card, and it makes me want to buy the BB:Newsprint right now!!

I decided to go with something a little soft in tone:

I pulled out an oldie but a goodie, BB: Text Style, and combined it with the smaller clock face image from Hands of Time. I used the coordinating dies, including Wonderful Words: Birthday, and played around until I was satisfied with the configuration. The colours are Aqua Mist, Smokey Shadow, and Rustic White.

It is a little hard to see, but the chevron “birthday” in BB:Birthday is really spectacular in real life. I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!
