MIM#99 – Repeats & Rainbows

Hello blogland!

I hope you all had a fantastic holiday, and a great start to your New Year :)

I was spoiled, and my hubby got me a new iMac – yay!

I have been very lax in my crafty-ness, and one of my “resolutions” (for lack of a better word) is to spend more time in my craft room. So here we go!

I really liked the theme for this week’s MIM @ PTI – repeats & rainbows. I also love all the color combo’s Nichole gave for us to use. Here is what I did:

As you can see, I used Summer Sunrise, Limeade Ice, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, and Raspberry Fizz – so happy!

I am always inspired by Cristina & Maile, so this is an homage to them :)

PTI November Blog Hop

Well I am ashamed to see how long I have been away from the crafty world – so much has been going on!

We have moved, had guests 4x, and are just beginning to settle into our new home.

Phew.

I was super excited when I saw the challenge for the blog hop! I am an avid reader, and I am often drawn to books by their covers…this is perfect for me.

I decided to do a cover from “The Night Circus”  by Erin Morgentstern- if you haven’t read it, you really should. It has become a favourite!!

 I  know these aren’t the most common colours for a wedding card, but I am actually quite pleased with the result; aside from the specks from embossing!
